Once again, welcome to our 37th Schmidt Cattle Company Annual Bull Sale and thank you for your interest. As you know, the cattle business is good now and should be set to continue for a few years.There are many things to evaluate when purchasing bulls and all should be taken into account, but right now pounds and eye appeal are still the most important contributing factor for profitability. When calves come in the ring they have to look good and pounds pay the bills. Cattle that look good, gain efficiently and weigh well are still the most profitable for the entire industry.
